Two weeks in and I am getting results. Scale hasn’t been as kind to me as Ben, or even the Milk Man, but I have already moved a belt notch, and heading for a second one. My shirts are more loose, and family members are noticing it as well(Thanks kids, the extra money is under your pillow). Seriously though, I am feeling stronger and stronger everyday(Thanks Christian for pushing me), and I am feeling better about myself. Off to the gym!
So yesterday started the workouts, they are kicking my butt! One of the wonderful parts of my job is having basically any piece of commercial gym equipment at my fingertips. We have all the cardio you could want. Treadmills, Ellipticals, Arc Trainers(my personal fav), steppers, upright bikes(soon we’ll have some recumbent), then you get to the strength equipment. Again, we have it all. To avoid a letdown at the weekly Family dinner at my in-laws, I ate a decent sized breakfast. It consisted of three eggs, scrambled with skim milk. In the eggs were a 1/4 cup of chopped peppers(red and green), and 1/2 cup of broccoli. No cheese, and no ketchup either(I LOVE KETCHUP ON EGGS!). Dinner this evening consisted of Tacos. Maybe not the healthiest of foods. But not too bad, I think. They were filled with about 2 Tbs. meat, a pinch of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and a splash of hot sauce. No Sour cream! I had 2 soft shells and 2 hard shells. Washed down with a large glass of water.
