Permission to Take a Break

Well folks, Labor Day is upon us.

According to modern pop culture, it’s the last chance for summer activities; barbecues, picnics, a day at the lake, and wearing white. After this weekend, all of these things will be a distant memory. 

As summer winds down to an end, classes start again, and the end of the year quickly approaches, take a moment to reflect. You have worked hard this year — be it in your own company, a big corporation, or in the home. You’ve been working hard on bettering yourself; trying new things and challenging yourself.

After this weekend we start building into fall. The weather starts getting cooler which means our activities will start changing. Classes start again, schedules and routines become less flexible, and football season starts. (Hooray!)

The Holidays are just around the corner.

We’re going to need our strength to get through this stressful, busy time.

This Labor Day weekend, give yourself permission to take a break. You’ve earned it. Have that family barbeque or a day at the pool. Enjoy your family and friends! Recharge your mind and body, and get ready to tackle the fall season!
